Custodian - Part-time position, Kendallville Public Library (15 hrs/wk)

Duties include removing trash, dusting, mopping, and vacuuming the library. Cleaning and disinfecting all restrooms, counters, kitchenettes, and public and staff work areas. Relining trash bins and restocking paper towels, toilet paper, and soap, as well as, cleaning windows and other duties as assigned.

Position requires, at minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent.  Hours include mornings and, as needed, weekends. Minimum starting wage is $9.00/hr. Applications are available at both the Kendallville Public Library and its Limberlost Branch.

Information Technology Administrator- full-time position.

Duties include:

  • Managing the library's servers and public & staff computers
  • Installing and maintaining computers, printers, and AV equipment.
  • Providing staff training on all necessary systems, software and equipment
  • Instructing patrons in The Cortex, the Kendallville Public Library's MakerSpace
  • Evaluating and keeping an updated and comprehensive technology plan
  • Keeping library staff and administration informed of system-wide needs and concerns
  • Staying current and proactive with developments in the information technology profession
  • Assisting patrons and staff
  • Gathering statistics for monthly & annual reports
  • Other duties as assigned.

Position requires a proficient, working knowledge of a variety of Microsoft products, including Windows 7-10, MS Office Applications and Office 365, in addition to Apple products, Windows servers, Hyper-V, and basic network devices. Related degree from an accredited school or 2 years of experience in IT is preferred. Must have excellent customer service, organizational, and time management skills and be self-motivated and innovative

Salary: Based on experience
